How to beat any pain

Dear Health-conscious Friend,

One situation probably leads to more doctor visits than any other. Pain. Pain is your body’s warning system that something’s gone wrong… or broken entirely.

Pain tells you when something you touch is too hot. It tells you when returning tennis serves has damaged your elbow. It tells you you shouldn’t have tried to pick up your grandchild now that she’s in 3rd grade.

The problem with pain is that it doesn’t always stop when you get the message. Pain usually continues as long as there’s something wrong. And the longer you live, the greater the chances something will go wrong.

That’s why I’ve written about pain so often in the Journal for Healthy Living. And you’ll find scores of these pain relief breakthroughs and secrets in the

Journal’s archive.

Breakthroughs like New Zealand green-lipped mussel. Seriously.

When Europeans arrived in New Zealand, they were amazed that the native Maori living on the coast didn’t ever seem to suffer with joint pain – no matter how old they were.

The answer turns out to be an Omega-3 fat 200x more powerful than fish oil. These unusual shellfish are packed with the stuff… and the fishermen along the coast ate them all the time.

You can learn more about this joint remedy – along with 4 others – here.

If you have chronic back pain, you probably don’t need pills or surgery. But chances are your doctor has never even heard of a more effective remedy. It’s called the McKenzie Method. With just a few exercises, your back pain could be gone for good.

Get the details in my article “Extra Insurance for Back Pain Relief“.

How you deal with pain can have unexpected effects. It turns out the most common pain pills up men’s chances of erection trouble by 38%! I revealed the full story in this article.

And then there’s the spice that causes headaches.

Although it’s not a traditional Chinese spice, it’s the cause of “Chinese restaurant syndrome” – headache, flushing, sweating, numbness or burning around the mouth, and sometimes even chest pain.

The spice is MSG and it’s just one of a family of glutamates that can cause severe headache. You’ll find the whole story here.

I’ve even revealed the secrets to beating common pains like ice cream’s “brain freeze”, poison ivy and insect stings.

To stop brain freeze quickly, just press your tongue or thumb against the roof of your mouth. This eases the rush of blood that causes brain freeze and brings quick relief.

For simple tricks to beating poison ivy and insect stings, just read “Beat These Common Summer Pains“.

As new pain relievers, new techniques and new secrets are brought to light, I’ll be sure to let you know. Nature has so many ways for you to beat your pain… and we’re just beginning to scratch the surface.

Yours in continued good health,

Dr Kenneth Woliner, M.D.
