How to stop hunger and food cravings super fast!

12 Ways to Stop Hunger and Food Cravings Super Fast!

When you are hungry, it is so uncomfortable, and is a situation that can be disastrous too. (Meaning cheating.) Usually the hunger will get better, and remember your body is going through some changes, including withdrawal from carbs. Eating an orange or grapefruit might help the low sugar feelings.

So what to do? I have done the diet 2 times. These are just my own suggestions. You won’t find this in Dr. Simeon’s Pounds and Inches.

  1. What I found helped me the best, whether I was really hungry, bored, feeling empty, wanted to snack, tempted to eat something not on the diet, emotionally upset, or whatever it was–I popped a piece of gum. BUT, not just any gum. Some gum can make you hungry. I found some sugar free, green tea diet gum and sometimes I found it with Hoodia that is known to help hunger.

It “saved me” many times. I like Mega-T Green Tea Gum. One piece is equal to two cups of green tea, so you get those benefits, too. I often found it on Ebay.com or else sometimes in Wal-mart.

The Dollar General Store carries a different green tea diet gum, also, and some health food stores.

2. Spices. So what else can you do for hunger?

I found three avenues to slay this dragon. When you are hungry you need help RIGHT NOW! There are the emotional needs, physical needs, and real hunger, so let’s stick with food right now.

I discovered that spices can help.

If you will slice up a tomato and sprinkle on salt, pepper and some Italian spices, it is surprisingly good at allaying hunger. Use good spices on your fish or chicken and you will be more satisfied. Next time I will send on some recipes, including my Blackened Chicken Spice Recipe that I have already sent to a few of you.

3) Eggs. Dr. Simeon’s allowed one egg and two egg whites forvegetarians, for a meat substitute. So that got me to thinking and one day when we had some hard boiled eggs around, I ate one with salt and pepper.

It was between meals and so I cut back on my chicken in the next meal. I suppose it was the fat in the egg yolk, but I was able to get through until the next meal just fine.

4) Pickles. It also is not on Dr. Simeon’s list, but it is amazing what a pickle can do! One small to medium dill pickle has zero fat and  only 1 carbohydrate. And after you eat a pickle, you can resistother foods amazingly well.

(This one was suggested to me by a friend, I don’t know about this one personally.)

5) How many times have you ever brushed your teeth and then decided you didn’t want to eat anything? It can be quite effective.

6) When I went through any kind of “hunger spell” which usually was the first week of a new round of the diet, I found it helps many of our clients.

Go online to this Supplement for life I’d read what others were writing, asking, and offering for advice, and it really helped motivate me to stick with the diet. Also, you can see some before and after pictures.

8) Also, I now take iodine in the form of Kelp, a supplement. Iodine in fish is known to help you lose better because it helps up your metabolism. Iodine is so needed in the diet, that it is added to salt. Please do yourself a favor and only use Iodized salt. Iodine can help prevent hair loss, too.

9) Walking can up metabolism and I read recently that a short 30 minute walk or circuit training routine releases chemicals in the body that actually reduce appetite. Amazing. It is a good distraction and psychologically, if you start your day with a walk, you are much less tempted to eat something you shouldn’t, but I always thought it was just psychological.

Now I know it is based on something physical, too. “Walking alters appetite hormones and plasma lipids by modifications in lipoprotein metabolism and up-regulation of the low-density lipoprotein receptor.” I am not sure where I got that quote, but in some magazine on metabolism or weight loss.

10) HOODIA GORDONII This is a cactus-like plant. This herb has been used to suppress hunger without side effects. I have taken various forms of this over time. You should be able to find these items also at your local health food store.

11) Green tea. I also drink it as much as I can. I often combine it with Woo long tea and Organic Yorba Mate tea. It helps to drink hot or cold tea. It isn’t just the fluid volume, but the tea itself that helps with
appetite. I have been known to take green tea diet capsules

Do whatever it take to stay focused and on the diet.

12) If you like to snack. and find it hard to go without eating something, I found it really helps to have wonderfully grilled and seasoned chicken, cubed and saved in a zip-lock bag in the refrigerator, for a between meal snack. Just one or two cubes can really put off hunger.

I hope you find this helpful to keep you focused on your goal, of revealing your true body within. Please email with your questions or comments, and I may use them in my next HCG blog update.

Here’s my favorite, all-natural “blood sugar fixing” pill

BLOOD SUGAR OPTIMIZER
Dear Friend, Lower A1C levels Naturally!
Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer. Along with the parades and solemn ceremonies in honor of our fallen heroes, many families gather for cookouts.
Potatoes wrapped in foil hit the grill. Chips, hamburgers, hot dogs, and toasted buns pile up on the picnic table. Afterwards, there may be ice cream, home-baked cookies or brownies.
Our favorite summer foods are such a big part of season. But some of these foods hide a terrible secret. They may be slowly destroying your hearing.

That’s right. Some of the most popular foods at summer barbeques and picnics can contribute to living in a silent world. And it’s not just our favorite summer foods. Popular dishes from year-round  – and almost every holiday – can add to the damage.
That’s why I wrote to you this past week about the hidden danger. I revealed the problem, the foods that cause it, and how to fight back. Visit Blood Sugar Optimizer to discover your best defense against this hidden danger.
This problem doesn’t just affect your hearing. And looking back, I decided you should probably get a wider view. Because millions of people have this problem. And many of them don’t even know it.
That’s why I continued this theme in my second message this week. You see, this problem affects virtually every part of your body – including your heart. In fact, it can boost your risk of serious heart trouble up to 500%!
So, in my second message, I went into a little more detail. Both in what causes the problem… and in how to stop it. You can fight back several ways, and you’ll discover some easy options at Blood Sugar Optimizer
Of course, not all health topics seem as serious as the one above. But you might be surprised how even “vanity” concerns can have a powerful impact on your life.
Take your hair, for instance. Thinning hair may seem like a vanity issue, but the impact of hair loss is far more serious.
Hair loss can affect your chances of promotion at work… your romantic life… and even your own feelings about yourself. You can hide thinning hair under a hat sometimes… but a cover-up is no solution.
Summer is tough on your hair. And if it’s already thinning, your hair needs all the support it can get. That’s why I let you in on an ancient Chinese secret this week. It’s 1,300 years old… but it’s still as popular as ever.
To discover how centuries of Chinese nobles encouraged thick, luxuriant hair, just visit Blood Sugar Optimizer
Finally this week, I shared a message from my colleague, Dr. Jeffrey Greiff.
Summer is the season of light clothes… and light colors. It’s a season millions of women (and men!) with bladder problems dread.
Every “accident” is more noticeable in summer. It’s almost impossible to hide adult diapers under summer wear. And who wants to be faced with questions like, “It’s summer. It’s 95 degrees out. Why are you wearing blue jeans?”
Fortunately, there’s an answer. One that could cross adult diapers off your shopping list. One that could get you back into light, airy summer fabrics… or even a bikini! One that could get you back into the thick of summer fun again.
Let Dr. Greiff show you how. Just go to Blood Sugar Optimizer for the details.

Can you really lose 70 pounds in 80 days?

Can you really lose 70 pounds in 80 days?

Dan Lost A Total of 70 Lbs in Two Phases using our advanced HCG diet Protocol.

Here Is His Remarkable Story!Lose 30 pounds in 30 Days

This is the email I received from Dan…

Hello Colin,

I promised I would write when I completed Round 2 Phase 2 of my HCG protocol. As I mentioned before, I started out at around 285lbs on September 12th 2009, this was not due to being lazy or overeating, though I am sure it contributed to my weight gain. As I mentioned, I was a competitive athlete who had two major knee surgeries and spent 6 months laid up and unable to train or workout.
The only reason I mention this now, is because I think it plays an important role in what I am about to say.
I have been reading your blogs and questions that you receive. I would say without a doubt your response is spot on. But I digress, I am writing to tell you about my success on the 2nd round of my phase 2 diet. As I mentioned I started off 285lbs in September, I had managed to balloon up from 225lbs at 12-14% BF in a matter of a year. Keep in mind, during this year I did nothing but eat and complain about my situation.
I finally got sick and tired of complaining and decided to put forth an honest effort to correct my current disposition.

As I mentioned at the time of my initial email during Christmas Eve, I was down to 240lbs from 285lbs in 6 weeks, I was able to hold the weight through Thanksgiving and up until Christmas. By the beginning of the New Year and the beginning of my 2nd Round on the HCG protocol, I was weighing in at 252lbs after my 3 day gorge.

I was disappointed at the amount of weight I gained in a week, but I was able to drop back down to 240lbs within 3 days after my gorge days. I continued on my protocol, pretty spot on for the next 6 weeks and am currently between 215lbs and 217lbs and trying to stabilize my “new weight”.
I will be 100% honest with you and any reader that reads this post. Though I did not feel the hunger pains or the cravings I felt on my first round, it was tougher mentally for me this round. I did not plateau, I only had to do 1 “apple day” it was a very successful round and I managed to get right where I wanted to be at the end of round 2. But for whatever reason, mentally it was a lot tougher.

I am also finding it harder to stabilize my weight this time. Though I am actually eating cleaner than I had done during my stabilization phase my first go. I also noticed a significant amount of muscle loss this time. My body fat % went down about 4%, but I am smaller now than when I was 225lbs and muscular.

I would cut down to 205lbs to compete and it looked a lot different than the 215lbs I find myself at now. But I expected a tough road, I am not upset or even discouraged at all. I am in the gym daily and maximizing my workouts and working the cardio that I can do. It is so hard to build clean muscle naturally and it is so easy to lose the hard earned muscle. I think for any person to have success with this protocol it requires a complete “life change” approach and not just a “quick fix” approach.
I think anyone attempting this diet needs to understand that it will be very challenging and you need a good amount of discipline to stick it out.
Though you don’t feel “hungry” per say, you do experience food cravings and you do need to ensure you are eating exactly what you are supposed to at the times you are supposed to. Any variation can have a huge negative impact.
I am in my first week of stabilization and once stabilized I will hold the 215-217lbs until May 1st. At that time I will do my final push to hit 195lbs in a short 23 day program. Once I stabilize at 195lbs I will begin my climb back up to 220lbs at 10% BF. I know without a doubt that this is possible, as I have accomplished every goal I have set for myself in regards to the HCG protocol.
I will be sending you pictures shortly of my progress thus far. Keep up the good work my friend.

Dan

Complete 26 Day HCG Starter Kit

My email back to Dan,
Hi Dan, all I can say is wow man… What an amazing, honest and detailed outline of your HCg diet experience. I want to thank you for being so honest and candid when sharing your story.
Anyone who reads this post should be inspired by you. I must agree with you that the 2nd round is much more difficult than the first round mentally. I experienced the same thing when I did my 2nd round, and I am currently doing a third one as well.
It have been over sixteen months since I completed the first and second phases. I believe once you experience the success you get from this diet, the fear of never being able to lose the weight is somewhat gone, so being as disciplined can sometime be difficult.
As far as muscle loss… I don’t think there is a diet that exists where some muscle will not be lost; however, HCG Body for Life  diet protocol attacks the stored fat until that source is no longer available. I take my hat off to you brother, and I am very proud of you and your accomplishment. I look forward to your before and after pics, and have no doubt you will reach your weight loss goal.

Good luck, Dan, and God bless you man.

Sincerely,

Colin

The World’s Healthiest Plant

This May Be the World’s Healthiest Plant

Everyone knows fruits and veggies are good for you. They’re loaded with nutrients and fiber. But none can top Chlorella. It may just be the world’s healthiest plant.
If you haven’t heard of Chlorella, don’t feel bad. Many people haven’t. Though it’s been around for 2 billion years, we’ve only known about it for about 100. You see, it’s a tiny, one-celled plant.
But don’t be fooled by size. Chlorella packs a potent nutritional punch.
The Perfect Plant Protein… and More
You hear a lot about plant protein these days. Eat more beans, they say. More soy. But there’s one small problem with most plant proteins. They’re far from complete.
A “complete” protein food delivers all 9 essential amino acids in the right balance for human health.
But one plant that is a complete protein source… Chlorella. No bean, no soy, no tempeh comes close. Chlorella is one of just a handful of foods that can match eggs for the quality of their protein.
Chlorella also offers a bounty of vitamins and minerals.
For example, just 10 grams – about 1/3 of an ounce – delivers more than 100% of your daily need of vitamin A. Chlorella is a good source of lutein and zeaxanthin, too. These two vitamin A cousins are key to eye health.
It’s high in B vitamins, crucial for energy and fighting stress. And Chlorella even delivers B12 – a key vitamin almost impossible to get from plant sources.
In 2015, doctors gave Chlorella to a group of vegetarians. Within 60 days, their B12 status was up. And their levels of homocysteine – a protein linked to heart problems – had dropped.1
Chlorella has a fair amount of vitamins C and E, too.
Key Minerals for Women and Men
Chlorella delivers a good shot of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus – all important for bone health.
Men will benefit from Chlorella as a rich source of zinc. Men’s reproductive organs have the highest concentrations of zinc in the human body. And zinc is critical for a healthy prostate.
For women, Chlorella is high in iron. Japanese researchers gave Chlorella to a group of pregnant women with low iron levels in their blood. Within weeks, these women were far less likely to have low iron levels than women who didn’t take Chlorella.2
Boost Your Energy Levels
Feeling run down? Chlorella may help.
In 2014, university scientists tested 10 young athletes. And the results were surprising.
In this study, the volunteers were split into two groups. First, the volunteers did a cycling test to determine their exercise capacity.
Then the groups took either Chlorella or a placebo twice a day for 4 weeks. This was followed by another cycling test.
Six weeks later, the scientists repeated the process with the same volunteers. Except, this time, they switched who got the Chlorella or the placebo.
In both cases, the Chlorella group showed better aerobic capacity, while the placebo group showed no improvement.3
Along with improved energy, Chlorella may help block weight gain.
Maintain a Healthy Weight
Animal studies suggest Chlorella may promote healthy blood fat levels… and may help at least some women avoid weight gain.
Using a model of the change, female subjects were either given Chlorella or a placebo. After 7 weeks, the Chlorella group had better levels of cholesterol and blood fats. Plus, they didn’t gain any weight.4
This suggests at least some women may benefit weight-wise by taking a supplement with Chlorella.
Benefits on Top of Benefits
For such a tiny plant, Chlorella’s benefits just keep adding up. Here are a just few more…
  • High Blood Pressure – Doctors in Virginia gave Chlorella to a group of people with high blood pressure. After 2 months, the group’s average blood pressure was only slightly lower. But for 25% of the group, the drop was significant. And all the volunteers said they felt health improvements, even if their blood pressure didn’t improve.5
  • Abnormal Cell Growth – In a 2015 study, European doctors gave Chlorella to one of two groups of animals with abnormal cells. After 14 weeks, they compared abnormal cell growth in the two groups. The Chlorella group had 61% less abnormal growth than the other group.6
  • Immune Health – In a human study, volunteers with abnormal cell growth took Chlorella. All were taking medications known to suppress immune function. In spite of this, their immune systems remained near normal. And they had fewer illnesses than most people experience in that situation.7
  • Toxins – Animal and human studies suggest Chlorella helps move toxins out of your body. Perhaps because it’s rich in chlorophyll, Nature’s “Master Detoxifier.”
Japanese doctors found nursing women taking Chlorella had lower levels of dioxins in their breast milk. They also passed more immune factors on to their babies than women not taking Chlorella.8
In a 2009 study, animals with high cadmium levels passed more of this heavy metal out of their systems when given Chlorella.9
Getting the Best Out of Chlorella
It’s not easy to get all Chlorella’s benefits. Like many one-celled plants, Chlorella has tough cell walls. Our digestive systems can’t break them down effectively. So you can’t get all the nutrients available from plain Chlorella.
Fortunately, high-quality Chlorella is available. It’s called “broken cell wall” Chlorella. Essentially, the walls come “pre-broken” so your body can extract the most nutrients.
That’s why Best Life Herbals uses broken cell wall Chlorella in Pro-Green Formula.
Pro-Green Formula also delivers 7 more green superfoods… like barley grass juice, Korean ginseng, and rich green chlorophyll. And alfalfa, “the Father of All Foods.”
Alfalfa is high in heart-healthy Omega-3 fatty acids… vitamin K… and smaller amounts of other vitamins and minerals. It offers a well-balanced nutrient palette with almost no calories.
